Occident Express – Chatty Pianist’s Farewell Concert in New York!

Occident Express FB“Occident Express” is a Chatty Pianist concert that explores the perception of classical music in Eastern and Western cultures. Chatty Pianist Emir Gamsızoğlu talks about his perspective and understanding of the subject that evolved during his 25 years of living with classical music from Istanbul to Paris, and then to New York – in other words from the Orient to the Occident.

Pianist/composer Emir Gamsızoğlu began playing the piano at the age of 20 after quitting his career as a professional basketball player in Turkey. He created the “Chatty Pianist” concept to attract listeners of all ages and backgrounds to classical music.
